These Terms govern the use of the Morphi app. By completing sign-up or continuing to use it, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. This is a translation of the original in Portuguese and has the same validity; if the two ever differ, the reading most favorable to you prevails.
1. About Morphi
Morphi is offered by The Delusional Company Desenvolvimento de Software sob Encomenda Ltda., registered in Brazil under CNPJ no. 67.758.390/0001-34, headquartered at Rua Carvalho de Freitas, 325, Vila Andrade, São Paulo/SP, CEP 05728-030. Contact: contact@morphihealth.com.
It is an app for logging and tracking treatment. It organizes what you record, shows your progress and helps you prepare what to take to your appointment.
Morphi is not a medical device, does not make diagnoses, does not prescribe medication, does not recommend doses, does not adjust treatment and does not replace an appointment, a test or the guidance of whoever cares for you.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. The service is not intended for anyone under 18. Parents, guardians or anyone who identifies an account belonging to a minor can request its immediate deletion at contact@morphihealth.com.
You agree to provide truthful information: it feeds every calculation in the app, and wrong data produces wrong tracking.
To use Morphi you need an account, created with your own email, with Apple or with Google. It is what keeps your journal across devices and links you to a clinic. The account is personal: do not share it.
3. What Morphi does
- Keeps your entries of weight, measurements, doses, symptoms, lab tests, meals, hydration and exercise — on the device and in your account.
- Calculates daily goals and shows the progress of your treatment in curves and milestones.
- Triggers the reminders you set up, through your phone itself.
- Builds a treatment summary for you to take to your appointment.
- With your consent, shares your journal with the partner clinic you connect to, as described in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.
- Reads the photo of a dish, when you choose, and suggests the items in the meal.
- Reads the PDF or photo of a lab report, when you choose and after you accept artificial intelligence, and suggests the results for you to check.
- Answers your questions about your treatment, through Morphi Intelligence, after you accept artificial intelligence. It does not recommend or change doses.
- Every Monday, writes a summary of your week, with a finding about your entries and an experiment for the following week, after you accept artificial intelligence. It can be turned off in the summary itself.
- Reads weigh-ins and workouts from your phone’s health app, with your authorization.
4. What Morphi does not guarantee
- That the readings, findings and suggestions are correct — they are calculations and interpretations of what you logged.
- That reminders will go off: they are triggered by the operating system, which depends on permissions, battery and focus modes.
- That photo reading will get the dish right. Check the list before saving.
- That lab report reading will get every result, unit or date right. Check it against the paper before saving.
- Uninterrupted availability — there may be maintenance, network failures or incompatibility with an operating system version.
- The conduct of any professional or clinic you are linked with.
Machine-generated content. Photo reading, lab report reading, and Morphi Intelligence’s answers and weekly summary use artificial intelligence; the findings are calculations based on your entries. All of them may contain inaccuracies. Do not make decisions about doses, symptoms, allergies or dietary restrictions based only on them. You can request human review of any of them, under art. 20 of the LGPD, by writing to contact@morphihealth.com.
5. In an emergency
Morphi is not an emergency channel. If something in your body needs immediate attention, contact an emergency service or your care team — do not wait for a response through the app.
6. Your relationship with your care team
When you connect to a partner clinic, with the code it gave you and after seeing what it will be able to see, its team follows your journal while the connection lasts. After the connection ends, it keeps seeing only what you logged during the connection, until you delete your account; whatever it copies into its own medical record stays with it, under its own rules (Privacy Policy, section 6).
You can disconnect at any time, on the clinic’s screen, and the clinic can also end the follow-up. In both cases your journal stays whole in your account, and the clinic no longer sees what you log from then on.
The health service is provided by that clinic, not by us. Medical conduct, prescription, diagnosis and follow-up are its responsibility, including what it does with what it sees.
7. Subscription and payment
Access to Morphi is by subscription, with the price and billing period shown at the time of purchase. When you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, billing and renewal are managed by those platforms.
Subscribing on the Morphi website is available to people who live in Brazil, in Brazilian reais; in other countries, you subscribe in the app, through the store. On the website, your card is charged by Stripe, on behalf of the company, and the subscription is managed by RevenueCat. It applies to the same account, in the app, with no new charge: just sign in with the email used for the purchase. The receipt arrives at that email, with the link to the subscription portal, where you see your plan, change your card and cancel. The price shown before you confirm is the total charged.
People referred by a partner professional, with a valid invite code, have free access while the link is active. If the partner clinic informs us that the treatment link has ended, access to the app is suspended until you sign up for a Personal plan — and no charge happens unless you choose to subscribe.
Suspension does not delete anything and does not lock your data: your entries remain in your account and on your device, and can be exported at any time, with or without a subscription.
Free trial. The monthly plan may start with a free trial period — currently 3 days —, once per person, when the store or the website payment indicates that you are still eligible for it. On the website, the trial requires a card and charges nothing to it until the end of the period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first monthly payment is charged and the subscription renews automatically from then on. The annual plan has no trial.
Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown at purchase, until you cancel. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel through the store at least 24 hours before the end of the current period or, if you subscribed on the website, through the subscription portal before the end of the current period.
Right of withdrawal (art. 49 of the CDC, Brazil’s Consumer Defense Code). You have 7 calendar days from purchase to change your mind and receive a full refund, at no cost. When the purchase was made through the store, the refund follows the store’s own process. When it was made on the website, request it through our channel, contact@morphihealth.com, and the amount is returned to the same card. The free trial comes before the purchase and is not the same as this right, which applies from the first charge. Outside Brazil, where you subscribe through the store, the withdrawal period under your country’s law applies — 14 days in the European Union and the United Kingdom —, through the store’s refund process.
You can cancel whenever you want, through the store itself or, if you subscribed on the website, through the subscription portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the period already paid remains valid until it ends. Canceling does not delete your entries — they remain in your account.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. You are charged by the store or, on the website, by Stripe, and cancellation is done there — in the store or in the subscription portal; the app warns you before deleting.
8. Expected conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose or any purpose contrary to public order.
- Decompile, modify, redistribute or create derivative works from the app.
- Log another person’s health data without their knowledge and authorization.
- Present what the app shows as a diagnosis, medical report or prescription.
- Try to circumvent technical limits, automate access or interfere with the operation of the service.
Breach of these rules may lead to suspension or termination of access, without prejudice to legal action.
9. Your entries
What you log remains yours. We do not use your data for any purpose other than those described in the Privacy Policy.
Your entries are kept in your account: uninstalling the app, or losing or switching devices, takes nothing away, and your journal comes back when you sign in again. What was logged offline only reaches your account when the connection comes back. Export remains available in Privacy and data › A copy of your data, so you can take your data wherever you want.
10. Intellectual property
The Morphi brand, logo, design, source code, texts and database of the app are the exclusive property of the company and are protected by Brazilian copyright and industrial property law.
You receive a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to use the app for non-commercial purposes.
11. Limitation of liability
We are not responsible for:
- Clinical decisions made based on what the app organizes or suggests.
- The conduct, guidance or omission of professionals and clinics you are linked with.
- Loss of entries made offline that had not yet reached your account, when the device is lost or the app is removed before the connection comes back.
- Failures of external services — app store, payment processor, phone health app, network.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that Brazilian law, in particular the Código de Defesa do Consumidor (Consumer Defense Code), imposes as mandatory.
12. Termination
You can stop using Morphi whenever you want, and delete your account and everything it keeps in Privacy and data › Delete account. What happens to the backups and to what the clinic sees is described in section 10 of the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access in case of breach of these Terms or a legal order, with prior notice whenever possible — and you can still export what you logged.
13. Changes to these Terms
Significant changes are announced inside the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means acceptance; if you do not agree, you can stop using it and delete your data at no cost.
14. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, in particular the Marco Civil da Internet (Law 12.965/14), the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Law 13.709/18) and the Código de Defesa do Consumidor.
The courts of the consumer’s place of residence are chosen to settle any matters arising from these Terms.
If you live outside Brazil, see section 16.
15. Contact
Questions, reports and exercise of rights: contact@morphihealth.com.
For the processing of personal data, see also our Privacy Policy, in Profile › Privacy and data.
16. If you live outside Brazil
Morphi is offered in several countries. These Terms follow Brazilian law, and the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live also apply: nothing here sets aside or reduces the rights that local law guarantees you.
If your country’s law gives you the right to bring disputes over these Terms before the courts where you live, that right prevails over the venue in section 14. The same applies to withdrawal periods, warranties and limits of liability that local law imposes as mandatory.
Purchases and refunds through the App Store or Google Play also follow the store’s rules in your country. Purchasing on the website is only for people who live in Brazil (section 7).
